Ashley wanted to sneak a little hand-holding with Josh (without seeing each other, hence the door) before the ceremony…
What is it about weddings that make people want to jump?
I just love the couple’s expression during the toasts…
Ashley and Josh were married at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Evansville. The wedding took place two days after I returned from a trip to Ireland–see I told you I’d make it back, Ashley!
Family and friends filled the church for the ceremony, then traveled on to the Evansville Athletic Club for the reception. There was lots of action at the party with slideshows, poems, speeches, school fight songs and dancing.
Congratulations, Ashley and Josh! it was a pleasure working with you!
I met Natalie and Rod in lovely New Harmony, IN to photograph their engagement pictures. We had a great time chatting and taking photos. It was hot and we were almost attacked by a goose, but they were troupers! :) They will be married in October in New Harmony at The Granary.
Looking forward to the wedding N & R, see you soon!
Amy and Josh were married at the beautiful Roofless Church in New Harmony, IN. New Harmony is a favorite spot of mine as it is so full of great places for photographs. A&J met before the ceremony in a private little spot on a bridge behind the New Harmony Inn, where they got to see each other for the first time in their wedding finery and have a nice chat before the day got into full swing.
After the ceremony, it was on to Kokies Echo Valley where friends and family packed the house to toast the new marrieds. A&J had this great idea to take a photo holding a “Thank You!” sign to tuck into their thank you notes for their guests. Cool!
Amy and Josh, it was a pleasure working for you and your family–what a great day!
Kelly and Alex exchanged vows at St. Pius Catholic Church in Troy, IN. A big highlight of the day were the vintage and classic cars that the wedding party got to drive around in! Alex himself brought his prized red convertible.
After the ceremony, the wedding party (in cool cars) took a detour to their favorite watering holes in Fulda before arriving at the reception at the Fulda Sportsmen’s. Congratulations, K&A! Thanks for choosing me to photograph your special day.
Emily and Garrick were married at St. Mary Catholic Church in a lovely evening ceremony. Theirs was my 3rd wedding in a month at St. Mary–it’s a very popular choice for weddings. It’s easy to see why once you come thru the doors–the place is magnificent!
After the ceremony, the wedding party took a short walk to the reception at the Centre. Ballroom A was bursting with friends and family waiting to toast the couple. The dancefloor was packed all night (the bridesmaids never left it!) and Garrick showed off his breakdance moves to the excited crowd. What a party!
Thank you, Emily and Garrick and congratulations!
